 About the Colona Police Department

Suzanne Bogart is the Colona Chief of Police.  She has served Colona since 1993.  Chief Bogart leads a 24/7 department of:

  • 10 full-time officers, including 2 sergeants;
  • 9 part-time officers;
  • an Animal Control Officer/Community Service Officer (ACO/CSO);
  • and an administrative secretary.

The Colona Police Department takes great pride in the extensive training within the department.  They have:

  • a certified juvenile officer;
  • an elderly services officer;
  • certified bicycle patrol officers;
  • an emergency response officer;
  • a certified drug analyst;
  • and a forensic child abuse investigator.
