Position Objectives:
Welcome and register guests. Answer questions, explain campground rules and regulations, and distribute maps, assist campers in locating campsite, help with local points of interest, monitoring and reporting on all aspects of the campground to ensure the safety of all quest and facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assume additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the Campground/Facilities Manager.
Follow Severe Weather Warning protocol.
Knowledge, understanding, and execution of all campground policies and procedures.
Maintain facility security and safeguard assets by preforming frequent rounds of the campground, door checks, pool checks, ect.
Assist with various administrative tasks necessary for the campground to run efficiently such as handling cash, credit cards, accurately making change, writing receipts, answering phones, providing help to guests by answering questions and providing directions to campsites, ect.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Be able to pass a background check
- Available to work occasional overtime if needed
- Available to work holiday weekends during the camping season.
- Ability to safely operate City vehicles and al City equipment.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds
- Ability to handle cash, credit card payments, and accurately make change.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in fluent English.
- Basic computer skills necessary.
- Willingness to listen, learn, and follow directions.
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, and climbing up and down stairs.
- Ability ton interact professionally and respectfully with the public.
- Cell phone not allowed while operating City vehicles and any other city equipment.
Desirable Training and Experience:
Exceptional skills in public relations, and in maintaining effective working relationships; dealing with the public and fellow coworkers tactfully and courteously; high degree of accuracy with sufficient speed in data entry and math calculations to complete work in timely manner; handling cash; multi-task with constant interruptions, use of Microsoft Office products, ability to learn accounting software, and the ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks as assigned.
