City Elections
- The next municipal election Consolidated Election will be held on March 19, 2024. One alderman from each ward will be up for election/reelection.

Register to Vote
- You may register to vote at City Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Residents may also register to vote at the Colona Township office located at 801 1st Street in Colona. Hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Call 309-792-8770 for more information.
- Once you have registered to vote, you only have to re-register if you change your name or move.
Registration Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen.- Must be at least 18 years of age by election day.
- Must have been a resident of the precinct for 30 days prior to election day.
- Must provide two (2) forms of identification:
1. Verification of Name
2. Verification of Address
- Registration is open all year, except:
- During the 27 days preceding an election; and
- During the 2nd day following such election.
